Watercolour workshop | Ingrid Bowen | Treeportraiture
Ingrid Bowen is a landscape artist working from a studio surrounded by bush at Eramboo Artist Environment, adjacent to the Kuring Gai Chase National Park in Sydney’s north. Her recent practice focuses on depicting Australian forest environments in an evocative, contemporary style. Her technique combines the use of traditional and contemporary watercolour & ink treatments.
Ingrid actively exhibits with fine art galleries in Sydney and regional NSW, and participates in various community art and landscape study projects locally and further afield.
In this workshop you will complete and take home a small framed piece of art. Ingrid has a collaborative and friendly approach to guiding participants through various watercolour & ink painting techniques. All materials are supplied, and this workshop is suitable for beginners. If you have favourite tools you may also bring them along. Watch demonstrations, learn new skills and plan and paint your own tree portrait/bushscape in a creative, immersive and relaxing 3 hours , Saturday 28/09/2019, session 1: 9-12pm or session 2: 2-5pm
