Other friends have flown before, watercolour, graphite and gouache, 14 x 10.5 cm. 

Both light, each delicate, each graceful, each born to fly.  It is often the smallest things that can tell the story of a place.  If you care to look, there are many clues about previous lives.  Even if you do not observe the birds and butterflies, you might become aware of their presence through what you find at your feet.
