Kestrels are amazing birds which almost look like kites as they flutter high up in the air watching for movement on the ground below. They like to take shelter at night under the eves of our big shed. Here one has landed on a charming antique blue and white porcelain bowl rimmed with gold and decorated with a far away scene of clouds, mountains, villages and streams.
