Natural light is a showcase of recent paintings by Sandra Brand, Astro Spiller and Edward Essing. The trio spent 2022 in Europe and Israel studying the old masters and painting their surrounds. New insights were then brought back and applied across New South Wales from the Blue Mountains to Sydney’s North-West to the Central Coast. The result is a diverse collection of work that focus on the forms and atmospheric effects produced by natural light’s infinite expressions.

Born in Sydney in 1998, it's been Sandra Brand's passion to learn about life through art ever since she began sketching in the forest beside her home as a child. She has a particular love for painting portraits and landscapes from life.
