The Poetry of Things brings together two distinct glass practices in a collaborative reflection on the quiet beauty found in the everyday. Through still life compositions of familiar objects such as peaches, tin cans, cloths, and brushes, the exhibition draws attention to what is often overlooked, worn-in, or set aside. Rendered in glass alongside found elements, these forms carry a tension between fragility and permanence, delicacy and weight. The making process is slow, intentional, and tactile, becoming a way of noticing and holding space for the poetic potential in domestic and utilitarian forms. This is a quiet celebration of gathering, use, and care, and our connections to the objects around us.
