After moving to a new studio with large south-facing windows, Edward found himself inspired by how the steady natural light filled the space. 

This kind of light—bright but not harsh—allowed for more time to study the changing effects of light and colour over the day. It’s this natural rhythm that deepened his focus on still life and interiors, giving his work a more intimate feeling.

While these scenes reflect Edward’s ability to find beauty in the familiar, they are just one part of his creative practice. At the heart of his work is a fascination with shape, colour, and the delicate balance between structure and emotion.
