One sound that is unique to autumn is the rustle of drying leaves.  One sight that is unique to autumn is the vivid brilliance of the light shining orange through the leaves.  And if you look carefully, there will often be a late season moth or butterfly bravely hanging on in the warmth of the autumn sun before the cold of winter bites.  It is a lovely time of year when you look closely at the small things!
