Snowgum I 2019, kiln formed glass with screened glass powders, painted MDF wall structure, 72cm 22cm x 13cm.

'an abstraction of place, time, light and line. Sieved coloured glass powders fused in the glass imbue the work with gradations of colour and a fresh impression of 'folded glass'. The abstract expression suggests 'fleeting existence' in an ever-changing landscape, a theme prevalent since Rea's Shed series of the late 1990's and increasingly evident in her recent work.
