These words were spoken by Hermia from Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. The life of a leaf on a tree is only short, but I don’t really think it dies. It just keeps changing and rearranging itself with the passing of the seasons, its elegance during this process always worthy of close attention. SF
