Tim Snowdon | Moran Prize 2021 FINALIST

Tim Snowdon has, this week, been announced a finalist in the 2021 Moran Prize. Best known for his still life oil paintings, Tim's lesser known but equally impressive talent for portrait painting has been recognised in Australia's richest portrait prize. Established in 1988 the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize encourages 'both excellence and creativity in contemporary Australian portraiture by asking artists to interpret the look and personality of a chosen sitter, either unknown or well known.' We will reopen the gallery on Saturday 16 October and Sunday 17 October from 10am to 4pm. This will bring us to the close of Isobel Rayson’s exhibition Quiet Company. Numbers will be limited and we will continue to ask visitors to check in, wear a mask and use hand sanitiser on entry. New hours will be Friday 10 am - 2 pm and Saturday & Sunday 10am - 4pm.
