The minute fissures in the boulders, the lichen and detailed surface texture are hard to convey through  online images. The scale of the work is also spectacular at 1.6 metres wide, beautifully framed. Sharon has captured the uniqueness of the landscape of the Cooma Plain in this...

A moment in time | Peter Watts

A moment in time | Peter Watts

A country boy at heart, Peter Watts shares his fascination with nature in his exhibition 'A moment in time - in paint'. We can all relate to the feeling of awe when a truly remarkable combination of natural elements collide or a fleeting ray of light presents a show stopping display, before vanishing as quickly as it appeared. Peter captures those moments in his paintings. The movement, mood and atmosphere are familiar and yet there is a thrilling intensity in the work. The large scale brings the drama into the room, and it's captivating! Peter describes his inspiration in the video link:...
